Amorusso is a 12 year old registered Arabian gelding. Amorusso was in a 47 Arabian horse seizure because the owner was starving them. All of the Arabians were kept for one month with animal control then put through auction. Luckily several rescues ran the auction to insure that all the horses went to good homes or other horse rescues. Amorusso was not purchased during the auction, so Throwaway Ponies took him. Even after a month of feeding, he was still several hundred pounds underweight. At TaPs, he has been quickly gaining weight and was gelded. He had 30 days professional training which taught him ground manners. Once caught, he is a gentleman and enjoys being groomed by the volunteers at TaPs. Amorusso is just under 14 hands, so when trained to be ridden , he will need a smaller rider. He quickly learned the joy of treats, and is turning into a sweetheart. Amorusso needs an intermediate handler, and a loving forever home.
